Banana Water Lily Cultivation

"Protect Your Banana Water Lily Plants"

The pictures below depict a "wire-fenced, protected banana water lily planting enclosure" with the bottom foot of the wire fencing cut at the corners, turned toward the outside of the enclosures, then weighted down with bricks, preferably concrete blocks. The fence posts need to be wood, for ease of placement in soft muddy bottoms. This area should be planted densely with banana water lily at 1 plant every 3 to 5 feet in a grid pattern. This enclosure will help insure that you have plants producing seed even if the plants outside the enclosure are predated by animals or turtles. Plastic fencing will not work!
